Throughout the day we see images of the “perfect”body. These images are unrealistic. We see them whenever we turn on the television or in any ads in a magazine. During football games there are always commercials of skinny women in belly shirts and tight short shorts. No women actually go around wearing these kind of outfits on a day to day basis unless they work at hooters. These women have perfectly flat stomaches and seem to have no imperfections what so ever anywhere on their body. This gives women an idealized view of what they think men think that they “have” to look like in order to be beautiful. Many women often go to extremes to get these “perfect” bodies that are nearly impossible to get without plastic surgery.

FW 4: Favorite Food As A Kid
September 24, 2009
My favorite food as a kid were chocolate chip cookies. I hated all types of meat and anything that was considered healthy for me. I would only eat bologna sandwiches for lunch and nothing else. I would always save as much room as possible for dessert. My parents make the best homemade chocolate chip cookies ever. I could eat the whole batch in one night — and I often would. I also loved eating the cookie dough and still do. My mom recently brought be a big block of cookie dough for me to keep in my room to eat — it didn’t last long. I’ve always been a sweets person. I’ve probably eaten more reeses in my life than any other food.

FW 3: Corn Dog Movie
September 15, 2009The best movie has to be the replacements. It’s a football movie about a bunch of scrubs who get to play pro football because of a strike in the NFL. It is one of the funniest movies I have ever seen. I know every word, but it still makes me crack up every time I watch it. My favorite part has to be when they all get arrested because they get into a bar fight with the players who are on strike. All of the scrubs got arrested and thrown in jail. While they were in there they were talking to each other about the fight and were picking on one of the players because he was hiding in the corner. This player started to sing “At first I was afraid I was petrified. Thinking I could never live without you by my side.” He started doing the electric slide and eventually everyone got singing and dancing. Which was really funny because it was a bunch of huge football players with no rhythm. The deaf player on the team was dancing with them as the coach walked down the stairs to get them out of jail. Everyone stopped but the deaf player. It made me laugh so hard, which saying it now sounds bad to say, but if you saw the movie you would understand.

FW 2: Parachute Jump
September 10, 2009The first thing coming to mind as I’m falling from the sky plummeting to my death. I can’t believe my cord just broke on my parachute. I’m too young to die, what can I do… nothing!! A million things run through your mind as you’re plummeting to your death from hundreds on miles in the air. What about all of the things that I haven’t done yet in my life. I can’t die now I can’t leave my family oh no!! I’m supposed to have a game tomorrow now I can’t play. What are parents going to think when they find out I’ve jumped out of a plane without telling them. I turned 18 yesterday I guess that doesn’t matter.

FW 1: First Concert
September 8, 2009The first concert I ever went to was Britney Spears when I was in fifth grade. I remember how excited I was to go with my best friend at the time for her birthday. I knew every single song on all of her CDs. I saw her concert on tv before I actually saw it in person. Her finale song was oops I did it again since it first came out right before her tour. When the concert was over she went behind the scenes for a while so everyone thought her concert was over and I was disappointed that she didn’t sing oops I did it again. We started to walk away and then she came back on stage and sang that song. It made my first concert.
