FW 8: Favorite Halloween Costume

October 22, 2009

hmmmm… my favorite Halloween costume was my Raggedy Ann costume when I was 3 or 4. I had a red whig, a dress that my Grammie made for me, and red tights with white tape around them to make them striped. I had makeup on that gave me really rosy doll cheeks and freckles. I must admit that I was quite adorable. At the time I hated the costume, I was so embarrassed to be wearing a whig. Everyone loved my costume. My sister was the same thing, but just a little bigger version. I was also a Hershey’s kiss once. My mom made the costume for me. It was awesome. I looked exactly like one I even had a little pointy hat with the paper coming out of it that said Hershey’s down it. I won the contest in the parade that year.

FW 7: What do you want to be when you grow up?

October 20, 2009

I originally wanted to be a veterinarian, but then I realized I can’t deal with animals that are hurt, I get grossed out too easily. All of a sudden last year I decided I wanted to go into psychology. I think I want to help kids who have gone through their parents getting a divorce, or help people with eating disorders. But I think that might be a little depressing, so Im not sure. I also want to double major in physical therapy. I had knee surgery last year after I tore my ACL. After that I wanted to go into a field that would help people come back from serious injuries, but I don’t do well with blood, or needles. After I had my knee surgery I had to go to physical therapy for 6 months. I got to know my therapists and they made a huge difference in my life. Their jobs seemed really fun and something that I feel I would be good at. I have always been a very sports oriented person, so I would love to help people who have had a sports injury come back and play like my therapists did for me. I’m not sure exactly which field I would like to pursue more, I’m thinking physical therapy right now because I like the whole sports aspect of it.

FW 6: Favorite Toy as a Kid

October 15, 2009

My favorite toys as a kid were barbies. I played with them everyday with my sister. We would play school and she would be the teacher with the dolls. My sister and I would always have the same names for our dolls, no matter what one we were playing with. We had more barbies than anything else growing up. We have four big boxes full of barbies and all the accessories that go along with them. I had a red convertible car for my dolls, my sister had a pool set for hers and we would be up in our rooms for hours playing with them whenever we got the chance. For every birthday or holiday I would always ask for a new barbie doll from my parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles. I thought they were the best things ever to play with.

FW 5: Five Things

October 6, 2009

The five things I can’t live without… Number one will have to be my cellphone. I can’t go anywhere without it. When I don’t have it with me I feel lost and disconnected to the world around me. The second thing would probably be my computer. In today’s society technology is what keeps you connected to the world. Without my computer I wouldn’t know what was going on around campus, and I probably wouldn’t stay connected with as many people from home. The third thing is my iPod. I need to have my country music with me at all times. It helps keep me entertained when I have nothing else to do. Number four of Course I need my family. Without them I would not have gotten through soccer preseason this year. Me and my family are really close, so its hard being away from them. They would probably be number one on my list, without them I wouldn’t need my cellphone. Last hmmm this is hard… I would have to say would be my soccer cleats. I have been playing soccer since I was in 2nd grade. It has been a part of my life for so long, I don’t know what I would do if I couldn’t play soccer anymore.
